This
Once-In-A-Lifetime photo known as "Elk Bath"
or "Montana Fire" was taken in August 2000
by John McColgan
of
the Alaskan Type 1 Incident Management Team on the
East Fork of the Bitterroot River in the Bitterroot
National Forest. The photographer is a fire
behavior analyst in Alaska and took the photo with a
digital camera. Due to the size
of
the original photo it is only available in the size
below so as to not distort the image. Picture is
